A Faceted Women in the Arts project
As part of the 2025 Francophonie Festival, Art Outreach will host the What Doesn’t Kill You exhibition by Hélène Le Chatelier and Sunaina Bhalla from 8 to 16 March.
French artist Hélène Le Chatelier explores the impact of memory and social context on intimate spaces, using a diverse and experimental approach to question how we construct and deconstruct our identities.
Sunaina Bhalla, a contemporary artist of Indian origin, focuses on the transformative effects of pain on the human body, particularly in the healing process after illness.
Through What Doesn’t Kill You, the duo celebrates the strength and resilience of women artists navigating through personal and professional challenges. Their work highlights how adversity not only shapes individuals but also serves as a powerful source of inspiration, giving rise to profound and beautiful artistic expression.
